That Alessi celebrates its first 100 years of activity with a special project for which the 12 brand values will be interpreted for 12 months with 12 new objects we talked about last month at the launch of the Twergi Collection.
And this month it's the turn of the 100% make-up Proust vase by Alessandro Mendini, named after the French writer, and whose decoration is inspired by Parisian pointillist painters. Made in only 999 pieces, this limited edition features an eccentric conical porcelain structure resembling that of a sculpture. The alternation between the Divisionist motif and the golden inserts, on the other hand, transforms the 100% Proust make-up into a full-bodied painting. Ultimately, the combination of its two souls results in an even greater one, which is that of a poetic design icon.
This creation embodies the communicative power of Mendini, a master of Italian design who has profoundly influenced our factory overtime.
The 100 Values Collection is a project to enhance the design heritage of Alessi, which we are happy and proud to be part of as an exhibiting store for the city of Rome, in our premises in Via di Campo Marzio 42.
